Antar Labs LLC operates Plus One. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information, and the choices and rights available to you. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Antar Labs LLC.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

1Scope

This policy applies to the Plus One application, its related services, these Plus One webpages, and communications with Antar Labs LLC about Plus One, collectively the "Services." Antar Labs LLC is the controller of personal information covered by this policy where applicable data protection law uses that term.

Meal entries and dietary preferences may reveal information about your health. Our Consumer health data privacy policy provides additional information about that data and your rights.

2Personal information we collect

We collect information you provide, information arising from your use of the Services, and information supplied by sign-in and payment providers.

Information you provide

  • Profile information, including your name, wellness goals, dietary preferences, and reminder preferences.
  • Meal and wellness information, including photos, descriptions, food choices, meal dates, hunger and fullness ratings, journal entries, and other content you submit.
  • Communications, including coach messages, survey answers, support requests, contact details, and attachments.

Your entries may reveal sensitive information, including allergies, health conditions or interests, medication-related information, or religious dietary practices. We also generate information from your entries, including food suggestions, meal illustrations, and observations about eating patterns. Saved meals, images, and profiles are associated with your account to provide access across devices.

Information collected through use of the Services

Subject to your sharing preferences, we collect app usage and diagnostic information, including features used, screens visited, crashes, errors, device type, software versions, timestamps, and account or device identifiers. We and our providers also process IP addresses and connection information to operate and secure the Services.

Routine usage and crash reports exclude meal content, photos, journal notes, coach messages, dietary preferences, and health goals. Crash reports exclude screenshots and account credentials. Reports may be associated with your account.

With your separate permission, we collect recordings of app interactions with text inputs, images, and sensitive screens hidden. Recording is off by default and can be stopped at any time.

Information from other sources

Apple or Google supplies the name, email address, account identifier, and sign-in information made available when you use its sign-in service. If you use Apple's Hide My Email feature, we receive your relay address. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Payment and subscription providers supply transaction records, purchased plans, trial eligibility, payment dates, and subscription, renewal, cancellation, and refund information. Apple handles payment details; we do not receive your full payment card number.

3Use of personal information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Create and manage your account, save your preferences, and make your meal history available across your devices.
  • Analyze food entries, create suggestions and illustrations, respond to coach messages, and show patterns in your meal history.
  • Manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and provide access to paid features.
  • Schedule reminders you enable and display the widgets and Live Activities you use.
  • Understand how people use Plus One, improve its features, and fix problems, subject to your sharing preferences.
  • Respond to support and privacy requests, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Plus One does not display third-party ads or track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. We do not use your health information for advertising or to make insurance, employment, or credit decisions.

4Use of artificial intelligence

Google Gemini processes relevant photos, descriptions, coach messages, goals, dietary preferences, and meal-history summaries to provide AI features. This includes automatic illustrations when you save meal descriptions without photos and observations generated when you view weekly insights.

We do not add your name, email address, or sign-in credentials to AI requests. Personal information contained in the content you submit is included in that content.

Under the terms applicable to our use of Google's service, submitted content and generated responses are not used to improve Google's products. Google may retain them for a limited period for safety, abuse prevention, and legal requirements. We do not use private meal entries or coach messages to train our own general-purpose AI models.

You can decline to use AI features and contact us to withdraw consent or request deletion. This includes avoiding automatic illustrations and insights if you do not wish to share information with Google. Features that require the information may become unavailable.

5Disclosure of personal information

We share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers that help us manage accounts, store information, process subscriptions, deliver AI features, understand app usage, investigate errors, and respond to support requests. They receive information relevant to the services they provide.
  • With Apple or Google when you use their sign-in services, and with Apple when you make an App Store purchase. Their handling of account and payment information is also governed by their own privacy policies.
  • With professional advisers, or when reasonably necessary and lawful to comply with legal obligations, respond to valid legal requests, protect people, prevent fraud, or defend legal claims.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, subject to applicable law and continued protection of your information.
  • At your direction or with your consent.

We require providers acting on our behalf to use information only for authorized purposes and to provide protection at least equivalent to this policy and applicable Apple privacy requirements. Your meals and coach messages are not shared publicly or made available to other Plus One users.

6Your choices

  • Camera and photos: you choose whether to allow camera access and which photos to share. Manage camera permission in iPhone Settings. Choosing a photo does not give us access to your entire photo library.
  • Notifications: manage reminders in the app and notification permissions in iPhone Settings.
  • Usage and crash sharing: in the You tab, open "How your data is handled" and change "Share app usage" or "Share crash reports." These settings are enabled by default in the current app. Turning them off stops future optional sharing from that device; it does not itself delete records already received.
  • Interaction recording: "Share app interactions" is off until you expressly allow it. Turn it off in the same screen or use the visible Stop control. Disabling usage sharing also disables interaction recording.
  • Widgets and Live Activities: meal-related information may appear on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Dynamic Island when these features are active. Manage their visibility in iOS and consider who can see your device.

Plus One does not access your Apple Health records, contacts, microphone, or precise device location. You do not need to enable optional usage sharing, crash sharing, or interaction recording to purchase a subscription. These choices do not affect the information needed to provide your account, purchases, or features you use.

7Retention of personal information

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Retention depends on the type of information, whether your account is active, unresolved support requests or disputes, and legal or security requirements.

  • Your saved profile, meals, and images remain available until you change or delete them or delete your account.
  • Coach conversations are not saved as account history. AI-provider retention is described in the artificial intelligence section above.
  • Usage reports, crash reports, and optional recordings may remain after you turn off sharing or delete the app. You can request deletion of records associated with you by contacting us.
  • Purchase, support, and security records may be retained to handle refunds, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.
  • Some information may remain in backups after deletion from active systems until the backups are replaced, subject to applicable deletion requirements.

Copies you save outside Plus One, including device backups, are under your control and are not removed when you delete information from the app.

8Deleting data and your account

You can delete individual meals in the app. To delete your account, open the You tab, select "Delete my account" in the account settings, and confirm. This removes your account, profile, saved meals, and images from our active account systems and clears meal and profile information on that device, subject to the retention exceptions above. Deletion requires an internet connection and may require you to verify your identity.

Signing out or uninstalling Plus One does not delete your account. Changes made while a device is offline take effect in your account when it reconnects. Other devices and backups may retain copies until they are updated or cleared.

Account deletion does not automatically delete previously collected usage reports, crash reports, or other records held separately by our providers. To request their deletion, or if you cannot access your account, email support@antar.dev. We will verify your request and arrange deletion of information associated with you as required by law. We will explain any information we must retain.

Deleting the app or your Plus One account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it through Apple's subscription settings. Apple may retain its own purchase records.

9Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your information, receive a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal our response to a request. You may also have rights concerning the use of sensitive information, targeted advertising, sale, or profiling with significant effects. We do not sell information, use it for targeted advertising, or carry out such profiling.

Send a request to support@antar.dev with "Plus One privacy request" in the subject and enough information to identify your account and what you want us to do. Do not send a password or full payment card information. We may ask for reasonable verification or proof that an authorized agent can act for you. We use verification information for that purpose.

We respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request and explain any permitted extension or denial. To appeal, reply to our decision or email us with "Privacy appeal" in the subject. You can also complain to your local data protection authority or state attorney general. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. A feature may become unavailable if it requires information you ask us to delete or stop processing.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, where it applies. The sections above describe the categories of information we collect, their sources, and how we use and disclose them.

10International users

For people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing personal information include providing the service under our agreement with you, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in security, support, and improving the service, subject to your rights. We rely on consent for optional interaction recording. You also have the right to give or withhold explicit consent where required for health information or other sensitive data.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You can use the relevant app controls or contact us to withdraw it. We use automated systems to generate suggestions and insights, but do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through automated processing.

Antar Labs LLC is based in the United States. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. These countries may have different privacy laws. When a transfer requires safeguards, we use the safeguards required by applicable law, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual protections. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.

11Information security

We use safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption during transmission and restrictions on access. Access is limited to people and providers who need information for the purposes described in this policy. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Protect your device and Apple or Google sign-in, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access to Plus One. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, we will provide that notice.

12Children's privacy

Plus One is intended for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required. Please do not create a profile or enter identifiable health information on behalf of a child.

13Website preferences and third-party links

You can read these pages without an account. We and our website providers may process your IP address, browser information, pages requested, and access records to deliver and protect the website. These pages do not use advertising trackers. The website may remember your display preference on your device.

External links take you to services governed by their own notices. Opening a mail link uses your chosen email service. Those services' separate activities are outside our control.

14Policy changes and contact information

We may update this policy as Plus One or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice of material changes where required. If a new use of information requires consent, we will request it before that use. Continued use of the app is not a substitute for consent where the law requires an affirmative choice.
